Singaporeans on the Conception boat that caught fire off the California Coast, USA

The US authorities have confirmed that two Singaporeans are among the 34 victims who were on board the Conception that caught fire and sank off the coast of California.
The Ministry would like to express our deepest condolences to the families who lost their loved ones. Our thoughts and prayers are with them during this difficult time.
We would also like to express our appreciation to the US Embassy in Singapore and relevant US agencies for their assistance in the Search and Recovery operations as well as the victim identification process.
The Ministry will work closely with the US authorities to continue to render assistance and support to the families of the two Singaporeans.
