The Government of the Republic of Singapore has appointed Dr Andrzej W. Kawecki as Singapore’s Honorary Consul-General in Warsaw, Poland, with jurisdiction throughout Poland.
The Honorary Consul-General will support the work of Singapore’s Non-Resident Ambassador to Poland Dr Loo Choon Yong. This appointment will further enhance Singapore’s ties with Poland. It comes as Singapore and Poland mark the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations this year.
Dr Kawecki, 67, is Senior Partner and attorney-at-law at Sołtysiński Kawecki & Szlęzak, and a member of the Advisory Council to the Dean of the Law School at Łazarski University in Poland.
As Honorary Consul-General, Dr Kawecki will perform representational duties and notarial functions as well as extend consular assistance to Singaporeans. The contact details of the Singapore Honorary Consulate-General in Warsaw are as follows:
