Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr Vivian Balakrishnan will visit Malaysia from 23 to 24 March 2021. Minister Balakrishnan’s visit underscores the close relations and extensive cooperation between Singapore and Malaysia, and aims to strengthen bilateral cooperation to stimulate recovery from the effects of the COVID-19 global pandemic.
Minister Balakrishnan will call on Malaysian Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, Malaysian Senior Minister and Minister of International Trade and Industry Dato’ Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali, Malaysian Senior Minister and Minister of Defence Dato’ Sri Ismail Sabri Yaakob, Malaysian Minister of Foreign Affairs Dato’ Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein, as well as Malaysian Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation Tuan Khairy Jamaluddin.
Minister Balakrishnan will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
