Congratulatory Letter from Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong to Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China Li Qiang
11 March 2023
Dear Premier Li,
Please accept my warmest congratulations on your appointment as Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China.
Singapore and China have longstanding and multi-faceted ties, marked by mutually-beneficial bilateral cooperation that continues to grow in substance and ambition. Our three Government-to-Government projects in Suzhou, Tianjin, and Chongqing stand across China as successful examples of what we can achieve together. I look forward to working with you to strengthen the breadth and depth of Singapore-China cooperation, including in new areas of mutual interest such as the digital and green economies. I am confident that our bilateral relations will continue to flourish in the years ahead.
I wish you good health and every success in your new appointment, and look forward to meeting you again soon.
Yours sincerely,
His Excellency Li Qiang
Premier of the State Council
People’s Republic of China
