Visit by Senior Minister and Coordinating Minister for National Security Teo Chee Hean to Phnom Penh, Cambodia, 6 to 9 May 2023

Senior Minister (SM) and Coordinating Minister for National Security Teo Chee Hean will make a working visit to Phnom Penh, Cambodia, from 6 to 9 May 2023.

During the visit, SM Teo will attend the 32^nd Southeast Asian (SEA) Games in his capacity as an Honorary Life President of the SEA Games Federation Council. SM Teo will call on Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen and meet Deputy Prime Minister (DPM) and Minister of Interior Sar Kheng, DPM and Minister of National Defence Tea Banh, and other Cambodian leaders in the security and energy fields. The visit underscores the strong relations between Singapore and Cambodia, and reaffirms both countries’ commitment towards deepening cooperation in key areas like renewable energy and technical cooperation.

SM Teo will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Singapore National Olympic Council.
