The Singapore Club of Thailand (SCOT) brings together more than 170 members who share a common bond with Singapore. It serves as a social network avenue for Singaporeans and friends of Singapore residing in Thailand to find support through meaningful club activities that promote friendships and showcase the many colourful facets of Singaporean culture away from home. Some of the SCOT's activities include lunch and dinner get-togethers, festival get-togethers, charity events to benefit the local community, and cultural visits, among other things. The Singapore-Thai Chamber of Commerce (STCC) was founded in 1993 by a group of Bangkok-based Singaporeans. The STCC aims to bridge and promote economic and social relationships by bringing Singapore, Thai and foreign companies which are based in Thailand together. The STCC's corporate members comprise about 300 companies from a diverse range of industries such as banking and finance, hospitality, property, professional services and manufacturing.
