Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam
Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, Minister of Finance and Economy and
Minister of Foreign Affairs
Brunei Darussalam
Your Majesty,
On behalf of the people of Singapore, I extend my sincere congratulations to Your Majesty and all Bruneians on the happy occasion of Brunei's 39th National Day.
Your Majesty's wise and benevolent reign has brought about stable development for Brunei over the past decades. The strength and resilience demonstrated by Brunei and its people throughout the COVID-19 pandemic is a testament to Your Majesty's visionary leadership. I am certain that Brunei will continue to flourish under Your Majesty's stewardship.
As close friends, Singapore and Brunei share an enduring partnership that is built upon a foundation of mutual trust. I was happy and honoured to host Your Majesty during your fifth State Visit to Singapore last year, which saw the signing of agreements that broadened our collaboration in important areas such as climate change and sustainability, the stockpiling of critical supplies, as well as education and civil service cooperation. I have every confidence that our bilateral relations will continue to deepen and reach even greater heights with Your Majesty's strong support.
My husband and I wish Your Majesty and Her Majesty Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha continued good health and happiness. We look forward to meeting you again soon.

Your Majesty,
On behalf of the Government of Singapore, I would like to convey my warmest congratulations on Brunei's 39th National Day.
Your Majesty's strong and astute leadership has brought Brunei decades of peace and prosperity. Having displayed tremendous fortitude in weathering the COVID-19 pandemic, I am certain that Your Majesty's government will continue to lead the country to even greater success.
Singapore and Brunei share a longstanding friendship that is anchored by deep cultural and historical linkages, as well as strong ties and mutual trust between our leaders, officials, and peoples. Ho Ching and I were deeply honoured to receive The Most Distinguished Order of Paduka Seri Laila Jasa — First Class and The Most Esteemed Family Order respectively personally from Your Majesty in July 2022, during our visit to Brunei for Your Majesty's 76th birthday celebrations.
Our special relationship is sustained by the determination of leaders on both sides. Under Your Majesty's wisdom and guidance, the relations between our countries have grown from strength to strength. Singapore was honoured to welcome Your Majesty for your fifth State Visit last year, during which our officials signed agreements that expanded our collaboration in key sectors such as climate change and sustainability, the stockpiling of critical supplies, as well as education and civil service cooperation. With Your Majesty's support, I have every confidence that Singapore and Brunei will continue to strengthen our special relationship for generations to come.
Ho Ching and I wish Your Majesty and Her Majesty Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha good health, happiness, and success. We look forward to meeting you again soon.
Yours sincerely
