INFORMATION ON VISA APPLICATION

Disclaimer: A Singapore entry visa is not a Visit Pass. It is a pre-entry permission for the holder of a valid visa to travel to, and seek entry, into Singapore. The grant of a Visit Pass will be determined by the Singapore Immigration and Checkpoints (ICA) officers at the point of entry. Possession of a valid visa alone does not guarantee entry into Singapore.

Please note that all travellers must fill in a SG Arrival Card up to 3 days before arrival, whether they require a visa or not.

The period of stay granted is shown on the Visit Pass (e-Pass) issued by ICA upon arrival via email and it is not tied to the validity of your visa. Please ensure that you provide a valid email address when submitting the SG Arrival Card.

List of Countries or Places

If your travel document is issued by one of the countries or places listed on ICA's website, you will require a valid visa to enter Singapore.

Applying in Singapore

If you have (a) a friend or relative with SingPass, (b) a business contact with CorpPass, or (c) a business contact accredited as ICA's Strategic Partner in Singapore, he or she may submit your visa application online directly to ICA here.

Applying at the Singapore Embassy

Should you choose to apply for your visa from the Singapore Embassy in Brussels, the documents required are as follows:

1. Completed Form 14A – Application for an Entry Visa (blank forms can be downloaded here);
2. 2 colour photographs, passport-size, with white background;
3. Intended flight itinerary to and from Singapore;
- Visa applicants are not required to buy a flight ticket before applying for an entry visa. Applicants who choose to buy a flight ticket will have to bear the risk of loss if the visa application outcome is unsuccessful or if the approved visa duration falls outside of the applicant’s intended date of travel.
4. Copy of passport biodata page (valid for at least six months from the date of your entry into Singapore);
5. Copy of your residence permit issued by one of the BENELUX countries;
6. Completed Form V-39A - Letter of Introduction (LOI), which may be issued by a local contact* in Singapore (blank forms can be downloaded here); and
7. Applicant’s contact details i.e. phone number and e-mail address.

 Additional supporting documents may be required on a case-by-case basis.

*The local contact must be either a Singapore Citizen (SC) or a Singapore Permanent Resident (PR) who is at least 21 years old with a SingPass account. If you are applying for an entry visa for a business visit (attending business negotiations or discussions), the local contact must be acting on behalf of the Singapore-registered business entity. LOIs issued by your Embassy can also be accepted if you are unable to secure an LOI from a local contact to support your visa application for social and business visits. Should you not be able to submit a LOI, please provide your intended hotel booking or any other information of accommodation/activities in Singapore.

Fees

A fee of EUR 22/- per visa will be charged, and the payment is required at the time of submission. The fee is not refundable. Please contact the Embassy by email (consvc@mfa.sg and singembbruconsv@gmail.com) for the payment method.

Procedure

Please submit your visa application no more than one month prior to your date of arrival in Singapore.

The application can be submitted to the Embassy by the following methods:

By post or courier. Please do not send original passport by post or courier. The Embassy is not liable for any loss of documents sent through post or courier. To be addressed to:

Singapore Embassy/Consular Section
Avenue Franklin Roosevelt 85
B-1050 Brussels
Belgium

In person. Appointments must be made in advance by emailing to consvc@mfa.sg. Appointments can be made from Monday to Friday between 9.00 am to 12.00 pm and 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm. When submitting in person, the application fee has to be paid in cash at our consular counter.

The processing of visa applications would take approximately 3 to 5 working days after the date of receipt of complete applications with fee. Some applications may take longer if more verification of information is required by immigration authorities in Singapore. Applicants should therefore give allowance for time taken to process (and possible postal delay) when setting their intended dates of departure. The processing time required is independent of the mode of application (i.e. either by post or in-person). There is no express facility to expedite the visa application process.

If the visa application is approved, you will be issued with an e-Visa via email from the Embassy.

Please note that the Embassy will not respond to enquiries requesting for status updates on the visa application.
