8月22日，第五届中国国际智能产业博览会在重庆开幕。新加坡通讯及新闻部部长杨莉明通过视频致辞，介绍了新加坡在探索智慧城市建设方面取得的成效，并展望新渝双方在共建国际互联网数据专用通道及探索通道应用场景的合作前景。新加坡是今年智博会的联合主办方之一。今年一共有 56家新加坡企业参展，其中九家在线下参展。
