President Tony Tan Keng Yam has written to François Hollande, President of the French Republic, and Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr Vivian Balakrishnan has written to Laurent Fabius, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of the French Republic, to convey their condolences on the terrorist attacks in Paris, France on 13 November 2015. I was saddened to hear of the multiple terrorist attacks in Paris on 13 November 2015. On behalf of the people of Singapore, I extend our deepest condolences to the families who have lost loved ones.

I was deeply horrified to learn of the brutal terrorist attacks in Paris on 13 November 2015 that claimed so many innocent lives.
Please accept my deepest condolences and sympathies to the French people and the families and loved ones of the victims. Singapore stands in solidarity with France against terror and we support France’s efforts to bring the perpetrators to justice.
