MFA Press Statement: Visit by Senior Minister of State, Minister of Defence and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr Mohamad Maliki Bin Osman to Switzerland, 17 to 19 December 2017

Senior Minister of State (SMS), Ministry of Defence and Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr Mohamad Maliki Bin Osman is in Switzerland from 17 to 19 December 2017.

 

SMS Maliki called on Federal Councillor and Head of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs Ignazio Cassis in Bern on 18 December.  During the meeting they reaffirmed warm and substantive bilateral ties between Singapore and Switzerland, and marked the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations in 2017.  They also discussed issues of interest, including Singapore’s priorities for its ASEAN Chairmanship in 2018, and possible areas for future cooperation.  

 

SMS concludes his visit in Zürich on 19 December with meetings with select Swiss business and university leaders.
