Application for and Renewal of Certificate of Identity

The Consulate-General processes application for and renewal of Certificate of Identity.

Application forms are available at Consulate-General. It can also be downloaded from the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) Homepage.

Please note that the issuing authority for Certificate of Identity is the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority. As such, every application has to be referred to ICA for consideration.

Fee

S$15 or RMB 70 (per year or part thereof)

For S$ payment, please make payment to the Controller of Immigration.

Processing Time

4 - 6 weeks

Collection of Certificate of Identity

The Consulate-General will inform you on the collection date on receipt of the Certificate of Identity from ICA.

Important Notice

For renewal, please submit your application at least 2 months before the expiry of the Certificate of Identity.
