The China-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City Joint Implementation Committee convened its first meeting on 22 August. Ouyang Weimin, Vice Governor of Guangdong Province, and Png Cheong Boon, Chief Executive of Enterprise Singapore, co-chaired the meeting. Officials from Chinese Ministry of Commerce, Guangdong Administration for Market Regulation, Guangzhou Government and Administration Committee of Guangzhou Development District, as well as the officials from Singapore Ministry of Trade and Industry, Enterprise Singapore and Intellectual Property Office of Singapore, had a positive discussion on ways to expand the next phase of development of Guangzhou Knowledge City, and contribute to Guangdong’s efforts to promote high-quality development and the construction of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
