Minister for Communication and Information S Iswaran visited Shenzhen from 4 to 6 July 2019, following his visit to Beijing. Minister Iswaran met with Wang Weizhong, Secretary of the CPC Shenzhen Municipal Committee, where they had a good exchange on topics of mutual interests such as digital economy, smart cities, and cybersecurity. Minister Iswaran also visited high-tech firms and research centres in Shenzhen to understand more about the development of smart city solutions, artificial intelligence among others.
