On 9 August 2019, the Consulate-General of the Republic of Singapore in Guangzhou hosted a reception to celebrate the 54th National Day and the 200th Anniversary of Singapore. We were honoured that Mr Lin Xiong, Vice Chairman of Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference Guangdong Committee, Mr Ma Shu, Deputy Secretary-General of Guangzhou Municipal People’s Government, and more than 400 fellow Singaporeans, friends of China as well as foreign friends attended the reception.
