Consul-General Chua Teng Hoe met with Member of Standing Committee of CPC Jiangmen Municipal Committee and Director of Organisation Department Zhang Yuanxing, and Mayor of Zhaoqing Municipal People’s Government Fan Zhongjie during his respective visits to Jiangmen and Zhaoqing. CG Chua also visited the Zhaoqing Dawang Hi-Tech Zone and Zhaoqing New Area, and had a fruitful discussion with the municipal leadership from both cities on the roles of Jiangmen and Zhaoqing in the development of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, as well as the potentials and late-mover advantages of the western GBA.
