A delegation of more than 40 Singapore senior officials visited Guangzhou as part of the 28th Governance in Leadership Programme (GLP) in end-October 2019. Aimed at understanding more of the dynamic development and opportunities in Guangzhou and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, as well as learning Guangzhou’s experience in transformation and upgrading of economic digitalization, urban development and population changes, the delegation had separate meetings with Guangdong Development and Reform Commission, Guangzhou Municipal Bureau of Civil Affairs, and Guangzhou Bureau of Human Resource and Social Security. The delegation also visited the China-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City, Guangzhou Urban Planning Exhibition Centre and several well-known enterprises in Guangzhou.
