Singapore Citizenship Application
All Singapore Citizenship applications must be submitted online using ICA’s e-Service. You will require a Singpass account to submit an application. If you are applying under the sponsorship of your spouse/Singapore citizen parent, your sponsor would need to log in via his/her Singpass account.

Confirmation of Singapore Citizenship status
You can apply for a letter of confirmation of Singapore Citizenship to prove that you are currently, previously or had never been a Singapore Citizen. The letter will only state your current Singapore Citizenship status (i.e. you are a Singapore Citizen or not a Singapore Citizen).
With effect from 11 March 2024, all confirmation of Singapore Citizenship applications are to be made via an online application form: https://go.gov.sg/confirmationofsc. The form will take about 5 mins to complete.

Processing Fee
A non-refundable fee of S$20 will be collected online for each application. Payment can be made via credit/debit card or PayNow.
Processing Time
The general processing time takes about three working days, if all required documents were submitted.
