Visit by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Heng Swee Keat to Hong Kong, 28-29 May 2019
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Heng Swee Keat visited Hong Kong from 28 to 29 May 2019. During his visit, DPM Heng met Hong Kong Chief Executive Carrie Lam and Hong Kong Financial Secretary Paul Chan to explore ways to enhance the long-standing cooperation between Hong Kong and Singapore. DPM also visited the Hong Kong Science and Technology Park, Sensetime and Chinese University of Hong Kong to better understand the steps taken by Hong Kong to promote innovation and technology developments in the city. DPM Heng also met business leaders in Hong Kong to exchange views on the economic developments in Singapore and Hong Kong.
