Administrative Assistant (Research & Information)
The Singapore High Commission in London is looking for experienced Administrative Assistants (Research & Information) to join the team in our Belgravia office.
Typical duties:
Monitor media outlets/periodicals to prepare daily media summaries
Undertake topical research and analysis
Assist with the High Commission’s social media presence, email and phone queries
Compile and maintain databases
Assist in preparations for official functions and events
Support the work of the High Commissioner and Political Section
Assist in other areas of the High Commission’s work where required
The ideal candidates:
Have a positive and can-do attitude, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills
Have strong writing and note-taking skills
Have at least Bachelor’s degree
Be adept in drawing upon, analysing and integrating political and economic information from a multitude of sources
Have good IT skills
Are keen to learn and acquire new skills
Should ideally have prior experience in research work
Contract: Permanent, full time
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9.00 am to 5.00 pm
Starting salary: £24,000.00 - £26,000.00 per annum (negotiable and excluding discretionary bonuses)
In-person interviews and tests are expected to be conducted in June 2022 and successful candidates should be able to start in end-June or July 2022.

Chauffeur
The Singapore High Commission in London is looking for an experienced Chauffeur to join the team in our Belgravia office.
Applicants should have a valid UK driver’s license and a clean driving record with no traffic violations. Applicants must be able to work as a team, display positive work ethic and abide by organisation regulations. Successful appointment will be subject to an interview and a driving test.
Job Requirements
Relevant experience as a Driver
A valid UK driver’s license
A clean driving record
Good knowledge of London roads and boroughs
Familiarity with locations of prominent Government Buildings and Offices
Full time position, which includes driving duties after official working hours, weekends, and bank holidays. Overtime Salary will be paid.
Flexibility with working hours and willingness to work additional hours is required,
A polite and professional disposition
Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
Good spoken and written English
Initial starting salary of approximately £18,400.00 - £19,600.00 (per annum). This excludes attractive bonuses (discretionary) and overtime salary.
Contract: Permanent, Full Time
Official Hours: Monday to Friday, 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.
Interviews will be conducted in June/July 2022.
