Should applicants wish to submit their passport application forms and supporting documents by post, it is recommended to do so via recorded delivery to ensure the safe receipt of their documents.
The application will be forwarded to ICA in Singapore for processing. The average processing time is about 6 to 8 weeks, provided all relevant documents are duly submitted. Incomplete forms and/or supporting documents will result in a delay to the processing time. Please note that the average processing time does not include weekends, Singapore public holidays and UK bank holidays.
Applicants will be notified by post or email when the new passport is ready for collection. Applicants who submit their application via post must collect the passport in person at our office.
Important: For identification and security reasons, applicants are required to turn up in person at the High Commission at least once, either during passport application or collection. The passport is to be collected within 6 months from the date of notification. Passports not collected after 6 months will be returned to ICA for cancellation and no refund of fees will be provided.
