Singapore Ambassador to the Philippines Gerard Ho Wei Hong presented to President Rodrigo Roa Duterte his Letter of Credence as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Singapore to the Philippines during a ceremony at Malacañang Palace on 19 March 2019. President Duterte welcomed Ambassador Ho, and expressed his hope that bilateral relations would be further enhanced during Ambassador Ho’s term. Ambassador Ho affirmed the strong ties between Singapore and the Philippines. He informed President Duterte that Singapore looked forward to commemorating the 50th year of our diplomatic relations with the Philippines this year.
