30th ASEAN-Australia Forum Co-Chairs’ Summary

The 30th ASEAN-Australia Forum was held in Canberra on 23 May 2018, with the participation of representatives from ASEAN Member States, Australia and the ASEAN Secretariat. This was the fourth Forum since the formation of the ASEAN-Australia Strategic Partnership in 2014 as well as the third Forum since the establishment of the ASEAN Community in 2015.
The Forum was co-chaired by H.E. Richard Maude, Deputy Secretary of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Australia and H.E. Myint Thu, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar. Australia thanked Myanmar for its work as Country Coordinator for ASEAN-Australia Dialogue Relations since 2014.
