The ruling and sentence of Malaysia’s former prime minister in a global financial scandal tops the July 2020 edition of “ASEAN Today.”

Raissa Chentami of The Indonesia Channel co-anchors the program from Jakarta along with Raymond Goh of TV3 in Kuala Lumpur. They also report on Chinese hunger for Malaysian durian and how Thailand’s major car show opened with strict Coronavirus protocols.

This is the 101st episode in the informative and entertaining series now in its 11th year of broadcast, and can be viewed on the internet (https://youtu.be/MczcOE-cbcc) as well as through ASEAN broadcasters such as The Indonesia Channel and Vietnam’s VOV-TV.

“ASEAN Today” is a joint production of the ASEAN Secretariat and The Indonesia Channel. Some material is provided by broadcasters in member countries. Check local listings for broadcast times. For more information, contact Raissa Chentami at raissa@theindonesiachannel.com
