The Permanent Mission of Singapore to ASEAN organised a mini Singapore Film Festival from 18 to 19 August 2017 to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of ASEAN. In keeping with “a people-centred and people-oriented ASEAN”, three movies showcasing the different experiences of ordinary Singaporeans were screened. Following a dinner reception at CGV Grand Indonesia on 18 August 2017, “7 Letters” was screened. This was followed by the screening of “Ah Boys to Men” and “12 Storeys” on 19 August 2017. We thank our friends from the Diplomatic Corps in Jakarta, the ASEAN Secretariat and the Singaporean community for their enthusiastic support.
