Ambassador Tan Hung Seng chaired the 1/2018 East Asia Summit (EAS) Ambassadors’ Meeting in Jakarta (EAMJ) at the ASEAN Secretariat on Tuesday, 27 February 2018. The EAMJ was established in 2017 and comprise ambassadors from ASEAN Member States and Representative Missions to ASEAN from Dialogue Partner Countries of Australia, China, India, Japan, New Zealand, ROK, Russia and USA. As a regular forum, the EAMJ followed up on implementation of the decisions made by the Leaders from the EAS during the 12th EAS held on 21 November 2017 in Manila, the Philippines. The EAMJ continued its work and discussions to address strategic issues that affect our region.
