The Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors of ASEAN, convened a joint meeting in Singapore on 6 April 2018 for the 4th ASEAN Finance Ministers’ and Central Bank Governors’ Meeting (AFMGM). The meeting was co-chaired by Mr. Heng Swee Keat, the Minister for Finance of Singapore, and Mr. Ravi Menon, Managing Director of the Monetary Authority of Singapore. The meeting discussed various economic issues in ASEAN including (i) Sustaining ASEAN’s economic growth, (ii) Securing financial stability and resilience, and (iii) Fostering an inclusive and innovative ASEAN.
