Condolence Message of the ASEAN Leaders on the Passing of His Excellency President TRAN DAI QUANG of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam

        It is with deep sadness that we learnt of the passing of His Excellency President Tran Dai Quang of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam on 21 September 2018.

        We share in the grief and mourning of President Quang’s family and loved ones, as well as the Government and people of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, and offer our deepest and most heartfelt condolences.

        As a highly respected leader who had dedicated his life and work to his people, President Quang left Vietnam and our region a better place.  We appreciate greatly and commemorate President Quang’s contributions to our ASEAN family.
