PR Tan Hung Seng handed over the Chairman’s gavel to Thai PR Phasporn Sangasubana at the ASEAN Secretariat on 7 December 2018 to symbolically mark the end of Singapore’s ASEAN Chairmanship which will officially end on 31st December 2018. The handover ceremony which was held during the last CPR meeting chaired by PR Tan also marked the handover of the ASEAN Chairmanship of the CPR to Thailand in 2019. The event was witnessed by ASEAN Secretary-General Dato Lim Jock Hoi.
