Senior Parliamentary Secretary (SPS), Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Trade and Industry, Dr Tan Wu Meng visited Jakarta, Indonesia, from 19 to 20 March 2019 to attend the High Level Dialogue on Indo-Pacific Cooperation: Towards a Peaceful, Prosperous and Inclusive Region. During the Dialogue, SPS Dr Tan emphasised the need for concrete deliverables on Indo-Pacific cooperation in order to bring tangible benefits to the people. SPS Dr Tan also shared the need to harness technological innovations as part of the region’s integration efforts, such as through the ASEAN Smart Cities Network.
