12021 East Asia Summit EAS Ambassadors Meeting in Jakarta EAMJ

Permanent Representative of Singapore to ASEAN Kok Li Peng attended the 1/2021 East Asia Summit (EAS) Ambassadors’ Meeting in Jakarta (EAMJ) on 7 June 2021. The EAMJ noted the progress of implementation of the Manila Plan of Action to advance the Phnom Penh Declaration on the East Asia Summit Development Initiative (2018 – 2022) and exchanged information on regional development cooperation initiatives and security policies and initiatives. The EAMJ also discussed the proposed outcome documents for the 16th EAS in October 2021.
