Permanent Representative of Singapore to ASEAN Ambassador Kok Li Peng co-chaired the Committee of Permanent Representatives to ASEAN (CPR)’s meeting with the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission H.E. Josep Borrell Fontelles on Thursday, 3 June 2021 at the ASEAN Secretariat. The meeting exchanged views on ways to develop the ASEAN-EU Strategic Partnership particularly in the areas of vaccines and connectivity, ahead of the 45th anniversary of ASEAN-EU relations in 2022. Both sides engaged in a candid discussion on the ways that the EU Strategy for Cooperation in the Indo-Pacific could complement the ASEAN Outlook on the Indo-Pacific (AOIP).
