For nationals of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) (i.e. Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, the Russian Federation, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan), Georgia, Turkmenistan, and Ukraine:
If you are in transit to or from any third country, you may be eligible for the 96-hour visa free transit facility (VFTF) in Singapore if you have a valid onward air ticket departing within 96 hours. You may enter Singapore by any mode of transport but must depart Singapore by air.
Transit travellers who satisfy the criteria for VFTF will have to meet the prevailing entry requirements before they are allowed entry into Singapore.
Assessment for entry is determined by the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) officers at the point of entry.
Extension of stay for transit travellers under VFTF is strictly not allowed. Should you require a longer stay in Singapore, you will need to apply for a visa. For all visa-related queries, please contact our Authorised Visa Agents.
For further information on the VFTF and/or information pertaining to the VFTF for nationals of India and the People’s Republic of China (PRC), please visit the ICA website.
