TRAVEL ADVISORY FOR THE UNION TERRITORY OF JAMMU AND KASHMIR, INDIA

On 22 April 2025, a terror attack in Pahalgam in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir claimed at least 26 lives.

In view of the volatile security situation, Singaporeans are advised to defer non-essential travel to the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. Singaporeans in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir are advised to remain vigilant and take all necessary precautions, including avoiding large gatherings, monitoring local news closely, heeding instructions of local authorities, and eRegistering with MFA at https://eregister.mfa.gov.sg.
