The Chief Minister of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee will make an official visit to Singapore from 18 to 22 August 2014 at the invitation of Minister for Foreign Affairs and Minister for Law K Shanmugam. She will be accompanied by senior officials from the West Bengal government.
On 19 August 2014, Mdm Banerjee will call on Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong at the Istana. Minister Shanmugam will host her to an official lunch on 21 August 2014. Mdm Banerjee will also be the Guest of Honor at the West Bengal Business Forum on 20 August 2014, where she will deliver a Keynote Address. The Forum is organised by the Singapore Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (SICCI), with the partnership of IE Singapore, the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), and the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCCI).
