Thank you, Mr Chair.

I am taking the floor to explain my delegation's position on the European Union’s amendment to add a new preambular paragraph after PP7. Our vote on this amendment reflects Singapore’s longstanding position against unilateral economic measures. Nevertheless, my delegation wishes to emphasize that we continue to reserve the sovereign right to determine national policies in accordance with our positions and priorities.
