Entry requirement for all foreigners

Travellers who do not reside in France are advised to submit their visa applications to their nearest Singapore Overseas Mission.
IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR THE PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC OF CHINA (PRC) NATIONALS:
With effect from 9 February 2024, holders of ordinary passports issued by the People’s Republic of China will be exempted from visa requirements for a stay of up to 30 days in Singapore.
Holders of all other travel documents issued by the PRC must continue to apply for an entry visa before travel into Singapore.*
Please note that there will be no refund of the visa processing fee for those who had earlier submitted an application.
* These include the PRC Travel Document, Hong Kong SAR Document of Identity (DOI) and Macau SAR Travel Permit. Holders of diplomatic, public affairs and service passports issued by the PRC will continue to be exempted from visa requirements for a stay of up to 30 days in Singapore as per current treatment.
Submission of short-term visa applications to the Singapore Embassy in France
The Embassy accepts visa applications from 9.30 am to 1.00 pm from Monday to Friday. The Embassy’s Consular Service Counter is closed on weekends, French public holidays and the Singapore National Day on 9 August.

Note: if you have a Singaporean Citizen or a Singapore PR who can act as your local sponsor and who has a SingPass account, the local contact can also submit the application online via SAVE.

Visa applications will be accepted only when all the documents are in order.
Your length of stay in Singapore will be determined on your visit pass which is stamped on your passport upon arrival. For more details, please refer to the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority’s website.
Important notice:
- Please note that scanned or unclear photographs will not be accepted.
- Any incomplete form or false declaration will result in the application being delayed or rejected respectively.
Processing time
Visa applications can only be submitted within 30 days prior to your arrival in Singapore.
The processing time for visa applications is approximately 5 to 7 working days from the date of receipt of a complete application. Some applications may take longer to process. Incomplete applications may also result in the application being rejected or delayed. Applicants should therefore give sufficient allowance for processing when setting their intended dates of departure.
Please note that there is no expedited service and that each visa application will be considered on its own merits.
Visa fees
The visa processing fee for each application is 22 EUR as of 1 January 2024. The default mode of payment is by cash or cheque. The fee is non-refundable regardless of the outcome of the application.
Collection of visas
Successful applicants will need to download an electronic visa (e-Visa) in PDF format from ICA's visa portal. Applicants will be informed of the relevant reference number to enter into the site. The e-Visa should be presented to the immigration officer at Singapore checkpoints along with a valid passport.

Other Entry Passes
The Embassy accepts visa applications only for social, tourism or business purposes. Foreign professionals, managers, executives, specialist or entrepreneurs who wish to work in Singapore need to apply for Employment Pass and obtain a pre-entry approval from MOM in order to be able to enter Singapore.
