CG Ong had separate meetings with Pudong New District Mayor Sun Jiwei and Shanghai Deputy Secretary-General and China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone Administration Committee Executive Vice Director Dai Haibo in the last month. CG Ong and Mayor Sun exchanged views on how to further strengthen relations between Pudong and Singapore, and discussed the development of the China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone and Singapore’s active role in RMB internationalisation with Shanghai Deputy Secretary-General and China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone Administration Committee Executive Vice Director Dai.
