Visit by Deputy Prime Minister Teo Chee Hean for Singapore Day, 11 April 2015

Deputy Prime Minister Teo Chee Hean visited Shanghai to attend Singapore Day 2015 on 11 April, where he joined about 5,000 Singaporeans in commemorating the 50th anniversary of Singapore’s independence and in paying tribute to the late Mr Lee Kuan Yew. 

 

DPM Teo also visited the Republic of Singapore Navy’s RSS Resolution, which was making a port call at Wusong Naval Base. 

 

While in Shanghai, DPM Teo met with Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Secretary of CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee Han Zheng. 

 

DPM Teo was accompanied by Mrs Teo, Minister Grace Fu, and officials from MHA and MFA on this visit.
