CG Ong Siew Gay was recently invited to grace the opening ceremony of the Singapore Chinese Writers’ Forum at Soochow University in Suzhou. In his remarks at the ceremony, CG Ong made the point that bilateral relations between Singapore and China are strong and substantive because of high-level exchanges and personal rapport between political leaders, strong economic relations, and close cultural and people-to-people ties.
