Singapore and Canada completed the fourth round of negotiations on the Canada-Singapore Free Trade Agreement (FTA) from 13 to 17 January 2003 in Ottawa, Canada.
The two sides conducted an exchange of offers for the first time on a comprehensive range of issues such as trade in goods, trade in services, financial services, investment and government procurement prior to this negotiation round.
This round focused on the clarification of the offers made by both sides.
The next round of negotiations is tentatively scheduled to be held in Singapore.
