Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Nguyen Xuan Phuc will make an Official Visit to Singapore from 25 to 27 April 2018 at the invitation of Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong. Prime Minister Phuc’s visit is taking place as Singapore and Vietnam celebrate 45 years of the establishment of diplomatic relations this year.
Prime Minister Phuc will call on President Halimah Yacob and Prime Minister Lee, who will also host a Welcome Ceremony and an official dinner in his honour. Prime Minister Phuc will attend the Vietnam-Singapore Business Dialogue jointly organised by Enterprise Singapore, Singapore Business Federation, and Singapore Manufacturing Federation. He will also visit the Government Technology Agency of Singapore and PSA Singapore. In addition, Prime Minister Phuc will visit the Singapore Botanic Gardens and attend an orchid naming ceremony.
Prime Minister Phuc will be accompanied by his spouse Madam Tran Nguyet Thu, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Pham Binh Minh, Chairman of the Office of the Government Mai Tien Dung, Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Chi Dung, Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Tuan Anh, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Tran Hong Ha, Minister of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs Dao Ngoc Dung, senior government officials and a business delegation.
