The Vietnam – Singapore Training Centre (VSTC) will be hosting a five-day Intermediate Course on Private Sector Development and Foreign Direct Investments from 21 January to 25 January 2013 in Hanoi. The course, conducted by the International Business Dynamics, is sponsored by the Singapore Ministry of Foreign Affairs under the framework of the Initiative for ASEAN Integration (IAI).
2 The course aims to provide participants with the theoretical and practical experience in attracting foreign direct investments and its importance towards private sector development. The course will focus on Singapore’s experience in the development of its private sector and its foreign investment promotion policy. The training sessions will be highly interactive, practical and experiential, drawing from the vast experience of our trainer. Training will be interspersed with formal lectures, class activities, group discussions, case-studies and presentations.
3 The course will be attended by 30 government officials from Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ministry of Planning and Investment, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. Officials from other cities and provinces such as Ho Chi Minh City, Hai Phong, Quang Ninh and Ca Mau will also be attending the course.
