The Vietnam – Singapore Training Centre (VSTC) will be hosting a training course on Project Proposal Writing in ASEAN from 28 January to 1 February 2013 in Hanoi. The course, conducted by Asian Leaders Institute, is sponsored by the Singapore Ministry of Foreign Affairs under the framework of the Initiative for ASEAN Integration (IAI).
2 The programme will draw from the latest Asean blueprints and current mechanisms operating in Asean. The Logical Framework methodology will be used in the project proposal design and formulation. Participants will have opportunities to participate in hands-on activities. There will be a mix of group exercises and presentations. Experiential learning opportunities have been designed throughout the whole programme.
3 The course will be attended by 30 government officials from different ministries such as Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Planning and Investment, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Public Security, Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, Office of the National Assembly and Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union. Officials from other cities and provinces such as Ho Chi Minh City, Hai Phong and Kien Giang will also be attending the course.
