The Vietnam – Singapore Training Centre (VSTC) will be hosting a five-day Course on Public Administration Reforms for Senior Managers from 18 March to 22 March 2013 in Hanoi. The course, conducted by Mr Toh Boon Kwan from Civil Service College, is sponsored by the Singapore Ministry of Foreign Affairs under the framework of the Initiative for ASEAN Integration (IAI).
2 By the end of the training course, participants will be able to identify and discuss Singapore’s experience in Public Administration Reform; recognise some of key strategies and challenges involved in the reform and apply the principles learnt to achieve results with limited resources. Instruction methods include formal lectures, open discussions, group work, exercises, experiential activities and other interactive components. Participants will be encouraged to share their experiences, learning points and challenges.
3 The course will be attended by senior level public service officials from the Ministry of Planning and Investment, Ministry of Education and Training, Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Information and Communications, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and from different cities and provinces such as Danang, Kien Giang and Thanh Hoa.
