The Vietnam – Singapore Training Centre (VSTC) will be hosting a training course on Hospitality Management from 17 June to 21 June 2013 in Hanoi. The course, conducted by Temasek Polytechnic, is sponsored by the Singapore Ministry of Foreign Affairs under the framework of the Initiative for ASEAN Integration (IAI).
2 The 5-day training course aims to provide participants with a framework to develop hospitality and tourism capabilities, as well as build expertise targeted at meeting the challenges of continuing expansion of the industry, particularly in the area of handling large-scale events and conferences. The course will also provide participants with a good foundation on the principles of planning, development, and management of the hospitality industry.
3 The course will be attended by 30 officials from relevant agencies such as the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, as well as the Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Officials from provinces such as Thai Nguyen, Quang Ninh, Thanh Hoa and Thua Thien – Hue will also participate in the course.
