The Vietnam – Singapore Training Centre (VSTC) in Hanoi will be conducting a five-day training course on Transitional Economies and Competitive Economic Management from 2 to 6 December 2013. The course, which is conducted by the Singapore’s International Business Dynamics Pte Ltd, is sponsored by the Singapore Ministry of Foreign Affairs under the framework of the Initiative for ASEAN Integration (IAI).
The training course aims to help policy makers and officials better understand the process of economic transition and management for a developing country, as well as learn about economic policies that facilitate sustainable growth and development. Through the course, the trainer will share Singapore’s experience in its economic development, human capital development and population policies, its management experience in monetary and fiscal policies, and its strategies to develop a dynamic and competitive economy.
The course is attended by government officials from various agencies including Office of the National Assembly, Office of the Government, Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ministry of Home Affairs, Banking Academy of Vietnam, National Institute for Finance, Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and National Academy of Public Administration.
