Singapore established diplomatic relations with the Socialist Republic of Vietnam on 1 August 1973. The Singapore Consulate in Ho Chi Minh City was opened in 1992 and upgraded to Consulate-General in March 1997. It is currently located in Saigon Centre Tower 2, 67 Le Loi Boulevard. The current Consul-General, Mr Roy Kho, assumed post on 3 June 2019.
