RENUNCIATION OF SINGAPORE PERMANENT RESIDENCY
Please note that effective from March 2024,only existing Singapore Permanent Residents shall submit for PR renunciation, which must be done online through ICA’s website. Please refer to the following link https://www.ica.gov.sg/enter-transit-depart/more-information/for-permanent-residents/renunciation-of-permanent-residence. for the online application portal, instructions on the procedure, and ensure to prepare softcopies of your documents for uploading. Please also note to surrender your Singapore Identity Card within fourteen (14) days of submitting your renunciation application.

FOR PERMANENT RESIDENTS WHO LOST THEIR PR STATUS:
For those who have remained overseas without a valid Re-Entry Permit (REP), you are considered to have lost your PR status. PRs who have lost their PR status are not required to apply for renunciation of PR. Should you need to request for a verification letter stating that you are no longer a Singapore PR, you may do so through this link: https://go.gov.sg/verificationofpr.
