    Operating Status of the Singapore Embassy

    The Singapore Embassy in Washington D.C. continues to remain open and deliver essential services. All visitors to the Embassy including for consular, visa and notarial services must make an appointment by sending an email to singemb_was@mfa.sg. For the health and safety of our visitors and staff, the Embassy has instituted declaration forms for all visitors. If you are unwell, experiencing COVID-19 symptoms or have recently been in close contact with someone who is COVID-19 positive, please postpone your visit to the Embassy. The Singapore Embassy can be contacted via email at singemb_was@mfa.sg. For members of the public who are seeking information on travel to/transit in Singapore, please refer to https://www.ica.gov.sg/enter-transit-depart.     Introducing SingPass Face Verification technology

    Besides quicker access to services via login shortcuts and providing convenience to local users with the Digital IC feature, users who are new to SingPass Mobile can now scan their face to set up their app. Overseas-based SingPass users no longer have to enter OTPs or wait for a PIN mailer!     United States-Singapore Summer Exchange Scholarship Programme

    The US-Singapore Summer Exchange Scholarship Programme was launched on 15 March 2017. The scholarship programme was first announced during Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong's Official Visit to the US in August 2016, to commemorate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Singapore and the US.
